The Classic 1840 collection is a contemporary tribute to the tradition of bentwood furniture, developed for more than 140 years in our Jasienica factory. Its roots go back to the Thonet-Mundus brand, an international giant that revolutionised design in the early 20th century by introducing light, elegant, and affordable bentwood furniture.

The Classic B-1840 model is a variation of the famous Thonet chair, enriched with gently curved armrests that flow seamlessly into the backrest structure. The version with a natural-mat seat preserves the lightness and timeless character of the original. The weave is reinforced underneath with a transparent mesh, enhancing durability and resistance to everyday use.
