The Classic collection is a contemporary tribute to the tradition of bentwood furniture, developed for more than 140 years in our Jasienica factory. Its roots go back to the Thonet-Mundus brand, an international pioneer that revolutionised design in the early 20th century by introducing light, elegant, and affordable bentwood furniture.

The version with a woven seat preserves the elegant bent form and subtle construction. The weave is crafted by hand in accordance with centuries-old regional tradition and is exceptionally durable, requiring no reinforcement with synthetic materials.

A structure composed of only a few elements ensures outstanding strength and lightness — qualities that have always distinguished Thonet furniture. Classic 1840 fits beautifully into dining rooms, cafés, and restaurants, bringing timeless character and elegance rooted in the history of design.
