Conscious design. Thoughtful solutions. Spaces that inspire.

The VANK_BRICKS acoustic panels combine sustainable material technology, a distinctive architectural structure, and a functional approach to interior design. Their form references classic brickwork, one of the most timeless motifs in architecture. This rhythm and modularity inspired the creation of panels that enrich wall compositions while improving the acoustic comfort of interior spaces.

BRICKS panels are made from environmentally responsible materials. The BIO version is produced from a biocomposite based on flax and hemp fibres, fast-growing plants with an exceptionally low carbon footprint. The second variant consists of rPET panels formed from non-woven material made from recycled plastics. The rPET version can be finished with SONUS fabric to precisely match the interior’s colour palette while maintaining the panels’ acoustic performance.

BRICKS offer excellent sound-absorbing performance. With an acoustic absorption coefficient of α = 0.90, measured in accordance with ISO 354, they qualify as a Class A sound-absorbing material. Their three-dimensional geometry increases the active surface area and supports sound diffusion, helping to reduce echo and improve clarity within the room. The result is a measurable improvement in the acoustic comfort of offices, meeting zones, educational spaces, and public interiors.

Each BRICKS panel measures 40×80 cm, allowing rhythmic and repeatable wall layouts adapted to the scale of a space. The panels can be installed easily, including with magnetic mounting, which simplifies both installation and later reconfiguration. They can be combined into larger wall compositions or used as acoustic art pieces mounted vertically or horizontally on a VANK backing board. The system also enables integration with other VANK panel forms as well as with acoustic pods and mobile partitions made from the same materials.

The BRICKS pattern was designed by Bidermann+Wide.
