BALMA

Solid form, crafted for connection — furniture built for work and well-being

Furniture built for work and well-being

Founded in 1970 in Poland, Balma is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of contract and office furniture. Its origins lie in precision manufacturing — creating functional, durable pieces that have defined Polish workspaces for decades. Located next to the NOTI factory, Balma shares the same family roots: the Balcerkiewicz family, whose commitment to design and production shaped both brands into complementary expressions of one philosophy.

Balma’s strength lies in a culture of quality and engineering. The brand specialises in desks, storage systems, acoustic solutions, and modular office furniture — products that balance technical precision with thoughtful ergonomics. In recent years, Balma has also expanded into soft seating collections, allowing clients to create cohesive interior concepts — aesthetically consistent and functionally complete.

Sustainability is embedded in every stage: 100 % of the energy used in production comes from renewable sources, and the company continuously improves its carbon footprint through innovation and resource efficiency.

Collaborations with Polish designers have brought a fresh visual language to Balma — one that merges structure with lightness and fosters creativity in contemporary workplaces.

Today, Balma continues to evolve at the intersection of craftsmanship and technology. Its furniture responds to changing modes of work and communication while maintaining the reliability and authenticity of its origins.
Together with NOTI, Balma forms part of a family story — two neighbouring factories, two complementary worlds: soft and solid, emotional and structural, united by one commitment to design that serves people.
