The Classic 1840 collection is a contemporary tribute to the tradition of bentwood furniture, developed for more than 140 years in our Jasienica factory. Its roots reach back to the Thonet-Mundus brand, an international giant that revolutionised design in the early 20th century by introducing light, elegant, and affordable bentwood furniture.
The Classic H-1840 model is a bar stool inspired by Thonet’s most famous chair. It preserves its harmonious form and light construction, bringing classic aesthetics into bar and kitchen spaces.

Made of beechwood bent using steam and pressure, it combines simplicity with artisanal precision. The wooden seat and backrest ensure durability, while the comfortable footrest enhances user comfort.

A seat height of 680 mm ensures comfortable use with lower kitchen counters and standard-height islands, adding elegance and the signature lightness of classic bentwood furniture to interior spaces.
