Oskar Zięta turns technology into vision

Founded by Oskar Zięta, Zieta Studio stands at the intersection of art,
design, and advanced engineering. Zięta approaches material as a living matter, one that reacts, evolves, and reveals form when given freedom. His pioneering FiDU technology (Free Inner Pressure Forming) transforms flat metal sheets into lightweight, durable, three-dimensional structures by inflating them with air. The process merges algorithmic precision with the spontaneity of creation, a moment where design becomes discovery.

Zięta’s philosophy is built on trust in experimentation. His works; from the iconic PLOPP
stool
, which redefined the possibilities of steel, to mirrors like RONDO and TAFLA, and large-scale spatial installations such as NAWA in Wrocław or Whispers in London, blur the boundaries between functionality and sculpture. They reflect light, surroundings, and time, inviting the viewer to experience material as both physical and emotional.

Zieta Studio’s strength lies in its continuous dialogue between technology and imagination. The studio’s creations are produced using cutting-edge digital tools, yet they retain the imperfections and individuality of human touch. Each object becomes a record of innovation, proof that design can move beyond utility into the realm of vision.

Today, Oskar Zięta and his team expand the language of FiDU into new materials, scales, and contexts; from collectible design to architecture and public art. Their work challenges conventions of production, aesthetics, and meaning, constantly redefining what design can be. More than a studio, Zieta Studio is a manifesto of courage and curiosity, a place where form follows possibility, and technology becomes a tool for dreaming.
