Born from a family legacy of over four decades in Polish lighting craft, Artera continues the story begun by the Dyderski family and their company ALDEX. It was created as a new chapter, one that carries forward artisanal precision into a world shaped by design, collaboration, and emotion. Artera exists to bring meaning back into light, to connect people, materials, and generations
through thoughtful creation.
What defines Artera is the meeting of handcrafted expertise and contemporary thinking. The brand combines local glassmaking and metalwork traditions with new design perspectives, creating lighting that feels timeless yet forward-looking. Every product is made in their own workshop in Częstochowa, where skilled, craftspeople shape, finish, and assemble each piece with precision and care. This independence allows for full creative control and a deep commitment to quality.
Artera works closely with Polish designers to give form to its philosophy. Collaborations with Nikodem Szpunar and Mikołaj Nicer, including collections such as FALA and BONBON reflect a dialogue between established tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
